Project:

Looking for a BI developer, with important experience with Tableau, and also experience with building and supporting ETL.
Very close cooperation with clients.

Position location: European time zone (+/- 2-3 hours time in Kyiv). Primary location: Ukraine and Poland.
Involvement in the project: 2-3 months full-time, then part-time

working days – Mon-Fr (Sat, Sunday – weekend)
working hours – 9/10 am – 6 pm (Kyiv time)
daily meetings – 10:30 am (Kyiv time)

Recruitment flow:
1. Technical interview – 1,5 hours
2. PM call – 30 minutes
4. After this PM call, we send the CV for consideration to the customer and, if it is suitable, will be first technical client interview with CTO – 30 minutes
5. Client technical interview – 3 hours
6. Client interview with COO – 30 minutes

Responsibilities:

As the BI Developer, you will build a strong relationship with the internal business stakeholders of our Israel FinTech product team. We use Scrum framework for the development of added values.

We expect from you the analysis and implementation of:

1. Data structure created from numerous sources such as DBs internet, and external services.
2. Such data structure will be used for creating (Tableau) reports, & dashboards (Tableau)
3. For the creation of the data structure you will be utilized PL/SQL, Tableau tools, ETL integrations
4. The solutions should be optimized
5. Over time such data structures and reports will be used by: Product, Sales, Support, Risk Analyst and more internal customers.
6. As part of a fast-paced FinTech start-up, you are expected to gain hands-on experience with all relevant data technologies, and actively drive the data culture.

Requirements:

– 5+ years of overall programming experience (PostgreSQL, BI tools, Data engineering)
– 3+ years of commercial project development experience
– 3+ years of commercial experience working with BI and ETL tools (PowerBI, Tableau – preferred)
– Advantage – Experience with data modelling for finance companies
– Understanding of RDBMS principles
– Strong SQL experience (ad hoc queries, optimization techniques, preferably PostgreSQL)
– ETL experience / Data Warehouse concepts
– Schema Architecture
– Аdvantage – storage infrastructure for scalable OLAP processing: Postgres / Amazon Redshift
– Experience with any batch processing technology: SQL / Talend / Elastic / Spark / Custom Built
– Experience with any streaming processing technology: Kafka / Spark Streaming / Storm / Flink
– Advantage – Practical experience in handling big production volumes of data (1TB+)
– Advantage – Experience with AWS cloud computing
– Advantage – Methodology: Scrum or Kanban
– Advantage – Knowledge of Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
– English upper-intermediate or advanced. You will have a lot of communication with business teammates.**
– Higher Education: Bachelor’s Degree or (Advantage) Master’s Degree
